Hi! I’m Rachael Nichols
Hi! I’m Rachael Nichols — educator, entrepreneur, creative spirit, and mom to a beautifully busy blended family of six amazing kids (ages 10–19), which means life at our house is basically equal parts chaos, laughter, snacks, emotional support, executive functioning coaching, and “has anyone seen my keys?”
For over 20 years, I’ve worked in education while also building businesses and creating community-centered experiences along the way. I have a background in psychology and education, but the truth is, the most meaningful things I’ve learned have come from real life — raising neurodivergent kids, navigating mental health and recovery journeys within my family, supporting students and parents through hard seasons, and learning how much connection, confidence, creativity, and practical life skills truly matter.
Nichols Knows was created from that heart. It’s a collection of hands-on workshops, pop-up classes, and real-life experiences designed to help kids and teens build confidence, connection, creativity, executive functioning, life skills, and real-world abilities in fun, meaningful, and supportive ways. Some workshops may focus on cooking, sewing, baby sitting, organization, social-emotional skills, life skills, creativity, or just learning how to function a little better in everyday life — all while feeling seen, encouraged, and capable.
My goal isn’t perfection — it’s connection. I want kids to leave feeling more confident, more capable, and more like themselves. I want them to experience encouragement, community, creativity, and the feeling that they matter exactly as they are. And honestly? I hope they have a lot of fun along the way too.
